Lexy: We actually started our blog around May of 2014 but never did anything with it because we were on a platform that Mother didn’t understand. So, in December of 2014 we moved over to Blogger and actually started blogging. Our first posts were really boring, but we think we’ve gotten a little better over time as we continue to learn new things. Now we feel we have something to report on!
Lola: Okay… so we thought we’d share our top five posts of 2016. It’s interesting because the posts we thought would be the most popular weren’t! But here you go!
1. Addiction Pet Food - Review and Giveaway
2. Morris The Cat's Tips for Getting Better Sleep - Part 3 (And a Giveaway!)
3. Tabby's Place - #BtC4A
4. Surefeed Sealed Pet Bowl Review and Giveaway
5. My Cat Fainted and She Couldn't Get up! Vasovagal Syncope in Cats
Lexy: Our "Meet Us" page was also one of the most viewed over the year. We’re really glad that the Tabby’s Place post made the list. (For more Tabby’s posts you can look here.) Tabby’s Place does such wonderful things for cats in need.
Lola: And the post that Mommy wrote about the time I fainted did very well, too. I hope that means it helped a lot of people and their cats.
Lexy: And it looks like people love our giveaways, as well as our guest post by Morris the Cat.
Lola: 2016 has been the most exciting blogging year for us because our blog really started to get some attention. The most exciting thing that happened is that we were accepted for two paid campaigns! (Mommy practically did a happy dance in a parking garage when she read one of the emails telling us we got accepted!) We are so grateful for everything that happened.
Lexy: 2016 had a lot of ups, but there were also a lot of downs. We lost a lot of friends this year, both in the Blogosphere and in Kittlyland on Facebook, and we would like to take a moment to remember them. Our prayers still go out to their humans. Mother also had a tough year with some health problems (which cut into our blogging time), but she’s on the mend now. Many others had some rough patches over the year and our paws are crossed that those are all behind them as well.
Lola: Our wish for 2017 is for everyone to spread kindness. Not only between humans but please be kind to animals in need as well.
Lexy: Happy New Year, from our house to yours! May 2017 be a year full of harmony and abundance for you and your family.
Lola: Now that you’ve read our top five posts, what would you like to see more of on our blog next year?
