Hello and Happy Friday! September 11 was National Make Your Bed Day, but since September 11 is a
day of remembrance we Mommy decided to wait to post about it on a different day. I have to be honest – this is not a day that
Lexy and I like. We really don’t like it
when Mommy makes the bed. (Well, it’s
fun playing with the sheets and getting in the way, but after that – bleh!) We like
sleeping in a messy, lumpy bed.

Even though I protested, Mommy still insisted that I move so she
could make the bed.

In case you’re wondering why Lexy wasn’t here in the beginning
of the photo shoot, it’s because she was still giving me the cold shoulder
after coming home from the vet. (More about that in a future post).

But her curiosity got the best of her and she came to see
what was going on.

Do you kitties like it when your human makes the bed? Or do

My human read somewhere that letting beds air out keeps away bedbugs - so she always leaves the bed unmade unless there is company.

I only sleep on my human's bed when the blanket is on it. She puts it there to catch my extraneous furs! As if I have any!! But anyway, she trained me to do that!!! Your human's bed looks quite luxurious and the heart cushion is very cute!! xxx

Aaaaaw y'all look so purretty. Weez kinda like boff. Since mommy makes da bed everyday and puts our favowit soft mushy coverlet on top it's not so bad. And on days when she changes da sheets and spways a furesh later of purrfume on da sheets dat purrmeate to da top we weally feel girly. So guess weez kinda like a made up bed. MOL

The mom makes the bed every day. We would prefer that she didn't so we could crawl under the covers easier.

Lexy, your plotting revenge face is quite appropriate. Our dad makes the bed. Our mom doesn't. She thinks it's a waste of time as all of us and the humans will just be getting back into it. But dad seems to like it made and since he's retired, Mom says he can do whatever he wants. We'll sleep on it either way. Hope you'll join us for Sunday Selfies.
