Typical American traditions on New Year's include making resolutions or goals, football, parades, fireworks, eating lucky food (such as pork or black eyed peas), and of course watching the ball drop from Times Square right here in New York City. (BTW, Mommy has never been to Times Square on New Year's Eve and she says she never will.)
New Year's is also the time to reflect upon the year that just passed and set intentions for the coming year. One of our intentions for 2016 is to be more consistent in our blog posts. (I also intend to make Lexy realize that I'm in charge around here.)
While reflecting back on 2015, we were happy to see how many rescues we helped through the sales of our book. Here is a list of just some:
Animal Kind
ASPCA
Catopia Feline Rescue of Arizona
Tabby’s Place
4 Paws 1 Heart
Jethro’s Anipal Sanctuary
Hudson Valley Humane Society
Oliver’s Orphan Oasis
Heavenly Angels Animal Rescue
Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary
Abandoned Angels Cat Rescue
The Granny Project
City Kitties
Cats In The Cradle Rescue NYC
SNARR Northeast
Advocates 4 Animals
Today will be a lazy day for Lexy and me after all that nip last night and this is what we'll be doing:
Happy 2016!
