Lola: Well, we're still getting used to blogging. Yesterday, after we posted about National Hug Day, we found it was National Answer Your Cat's Question Day. Sigh..... we'll get this right some day. Anyhoo, I'm always thinking of things I want to ask Mommy.
So Lexy and I put together a couple of questions for her.
Lola: Mommy, why don't you smooch my nose like you're always smooching Lexy's nose?
Mommy: Well, Lola, you usually have a runny nose, and your sneezes come out of nowhere. But I'll tell you a little secret... sometimes I smooch your nose when you're sleeping.
Lexy: Mother, why do you insist on picking me up and hugging me? It's kitty torture.
Mommy: Because I love you so much and I just can't help myself. When I hug you my heart bursts with love.
Lola: Mommy, why do you try to make me let Lexy lick my head?
Mommy: Because I know Lexy loves you and wants to be your friend and it would make her so happy if you would be nice to her. A little bit of nice goes a long way.
Lexy: Mother, why do you separate Lola and I when we're running around at night getting exercise?
Mommy: Because you sound like a herd of elephants and I'm sure the man downstairs doesn't want to get woken up at 1:30 AM.
Lexy: Thank you, Mother. We appreciate your candor. Lola, what are you doing?
Lola: I'm making a list of questions for next year!
