I was very excited this month when I saw a Catit Lounge Scratcher on the list of items to choose because Mother threw out my old lounger.
Okay, it fell apart, but I still could have scratched on it. But I digress. I have to admit, she was lax when it came to replacing it, so I took matters into my own paws and chose this to review this month.
Did you know that a cat's need to scratch is instinctive? It helps us sharpen and remove the dead outer layer of our claws; stretch and flex our bodies; and work off energy. And the Catit Lounge Scratcher is the purrfect place for me to do it. I love corrugated cardboard to scratch on!
(I also love playing with the little paper bits that fall off. They’re so much fun!)
Key Benefits
- Provides an appropriate place for your cat to satisfy the urge to scratch.
- Provides your cat with a corrugated scratching surface, while helping to protect your furniture from claw damage
- Includes catnip to increase interest.
- Contemporary design available in two patterns.
- Measures 19.5 inches.
Do you know what my favorite feature is? It makes the purrfect throne for the Queen of the house to pose on. Let me show how it’s done:
Did you notice how it matches my fur purrfectly?

Hey! Why does my scratcher smell like Lola?
That does look like a really cool scratcher!
ReplyDeleteAwesome, colorful scratcher for sure, but I've got my mat that dad brought home when they first got me. I took to it without them even thinking about it, and since day one that's (almost) the only thing I scratch on now. Such beautiful, colorful photos of you both, too!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great scratcher!

That sure makes for a mighty nice Throne!
ReplyDeleteOur kitties really enjoyed having the same scratcher, until some kitty yakked up on it and it had to go bye-bye. Glad you two are enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteLola, your secret is safe with us. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
ReplyDeleteWhat a great scratcher ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteLexy, yes, it sure does match you perfectly. You always look adorable posing on your scratchers. Like you, Pierrot loves cardboard scratchers and he has this one too!
ReplyDeleteKozmo is the big scratcher LOVER at our house! He has his eye on yours! He says your review had made it extremely likely he will login as Mom or Dad and get himself one.

Great review. Yes, it matches you purrfectly. XO
ReplyDeleteIt's okay to be a cat and do normal cat stuff, Lola. Look at Lexy - she makes it seem so effortless!
ReplyDeleteLexy is looking slimmer! We've never had a scratcher like this one - it's next on my list!
Great review, Lexy. Sophie also likes playing with the little paper bits that fall off. She pounces on them!
ReplyDeleteIt was made for you, Lexy! My old scratcher fell apart too but Mommy wasn't going to throw it away, just stash it in the basement. After all, it was my very first scratcher! It got as far as the kitchen and I kept scratching it there so that's where it lives now :) --Mudpie
ReplyDeleteI can think of a few kitty friends that would like this!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like an awesome cat scratcher! And we LOVE your background - so springy!
ReplyDeleteI'm and always on the look out for scratchers for my cats! I never used to have them, and of course my cats then used my furniture and carpets as their personal scratching posts!! But once I introduced them to scratchers they love them now and my furniture is much happier ;)
ReplyDeleteWe love those kinds of scratchers too. We had one, but it got demolished by a few of us... and Mom still hasn’t replaced it! Maybe she will after seeing this. Lexy, you look great on that lounger!
ReplyDeleteL & L.... wavez two ewe gorgeouzez....we dunno whatz mor awesum; de scratcherz ore yur fotoz ~~~~~~~ !!! ♥♥♥ N de box iz way kewl 2 !!☺☺♥♥
ReplyDeleteIt does make the best throne and you color coordinate with it so perfectly! Beware of the usurper.
ReplyDeleteOh you two did make me laugh!
ReplyDeleteLexy you get an amazing scratcher. Maybe people who declaw their cats need to know there are things like this to help cats have fun because #PawsNeedClaws don't they? You two look as though it is one COOL Chewy product every cat will just love!!!
Ohhh I did not see this on the Chewy influencer list this past month! I would have totally scratched one up for my kitties. They have had these before and LOVE THEM!!! They do last quite awhile too considering my cats do not go easy on them! They are great and I too recommend them!
ReplyDeleteOOOOOOOH, it does match your fur purrfectly, Lexy! We have the leopard print scratcher for goose. He uses it as a lounger too.
ReplyDeleteOh my mouses! I LOVE that scratcher! Kinda "retro" which is COOL in a cool cat kinda way. SWEET. Looks like a good size, too, which is important. Lots of scratchers are too small to get in a really good stretch, you know? purrs
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how much the girls love these "cardboard" scratcher lounges. Everyone I've received gets the girls immediate and long-term attention.
ReplyDeleteLola, You look lovely as a model...Gusto wants to know if they make these for dogs too. It might cut down on the number of times Amelia has to dremel his nails.
ReplyDeleteLexy looks very regal on her throne! I wonder if my cat would like one of these. He doesn't use normally use a (even though he has claws), I think he would enjoy perching on it though.
ReplyDeleteAppropriate places for cats to scratch is so important for keeping them happy and healthy! We also love Chewy.com! It's the best for delivery and I recommend it to everyone I can!
