We're finalists!! *chases tail in a circle* Sorry about that, I'm just SO excited! We've been blogging since December 2014 and have been trying very hard to make our blog the best that it can be and this year all of our hard work has paid off and has been acknowledged. Not only is Mommy an Ambassador for the 10th BlogPaws conference, but we are finalists in not one, but TWO categories in the Nose To Nose Awards! *chases tail in a circle* Sorry, I just can't help myself today.
I'm super proud of my sister for the post she wrote about her Seventh Gotcha Day, which is a finalist in the Best Written Pet Blog Post category.
Mommy wrote a great review for the Sleepypod Mobile Pet Bed, which is a finalist in the Best Written Pet Blog Post - Sponsored category.
We want to say "Thank you" to Will for posing for photos. We not only got to tell our readers about city life in that post, we go to show them, too.
Here's another reason I'm so excited about these posts being finalists; my big sister Lexy is the star of both of them! I've said in the past that even though the name of our blog is "Lola The Rescued Cat", it's about my whole family. And this is the proof! Concatulations, Lexy! I'm so proud of you!
But that's not all, folks! We won a Certificate of Excellence from the Cat Writers' Association for a post Mommy wrote about the Patricia H. Ladew Foundation, a cat sanctuary on Long Island.
If there's one thing Mommy loves to do, it's visiting shelters and sharing her experiences with our readers. We're very happy that the Ladew Cats are getting some attention through our post.
We'd like to give a big shout out to our fellow nominees in all of the categories, who are all so talented and wrote phenomenal pieces. The competition is tough, that's for sure.
Lexy, Mommy and I want to say a big "Thank you" to you, our dear readers and friends, who give us the incentive to keep on reporting and writing. Thank you for your encouragement and most of all, your friendship. Who knows? Maybe I'll be reporting back to you that we actually won a Nose To Nose Award and a Muse Medallion! Paws crossed!
