This photo goes back to June of 2011, just a week or so shy of me being here for five months (I wasn't quite a year old yet. Can you believe it?) Mommy had surgery on her hand and this is me being a very good nurse. Actually, I was worried about her, but Lexy told me it would all be okay. Mommy had surgery on the other hand before I moved in and Lexy told me it all worked out well. I was glad I was able to take care of her.
Mommy does not look her best here but I'll give her a pass. She was still groggy from the anesthesia.
I hope you liked my Throwback Thursday!
Lola
That is so sweet, Lola! My human hasn't needed my care so far since I've lived here. Sure, she's been sick a couple of times, but nothing like what I see in the hospital. If she ever gets that sick, I'll see what I can do.
ReplyDeleteLola, how nice of you that you took such good care of your mom. We bet she healed faster because of you.
ReplyDeleteYou were such a sweet nurse and you were really taking those duties seriously!

ReplyDeletePets are the best nurses. Our mom broke her leg in 2011 and our now angel brofur, MacKenzie, was her constant companion. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
ReplyDeleteYou're the cutest nurse ever!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet. When TW was in bed with her broken ankle, I used to show her tuff love by attacking her. I envy you being able to post a pic of your mom looking like this. TW burns pics of her that she doesn't like.
ReplyDeleteYou look like you were a very attentive nurse.
