We were contacted by Andrey, Cat Amazing’s CEO (Cat Entertainment Officer), some time ago for the opportunity to review this great product. We fell behind in a lot of things and it took us a while to complete the review. I can’t lie; it’s Mother’s fault. All I can say is that it’s about time Lola and I got to play with this!
We were intrigued with this product, but Andrey had us at “eco-friendly” and “Shelter and Rescue Enrichment Program.” We’ll talk more about that in a bit; first, let’s have some fun!
What is Cat Amazing?
The Cat Amazing Classic is a one of a kind treat maze and puzzle toy. It took Mother a little bit of time to put it together because, well, that’s just her.
But after consulting the instructions on their website she had it put together in no time!
Once it’s put together all that’s left to do is pop in a treat or two. (Or three!)
There are three color-coded difficulty levels; green, purple and yellow. Why green, purple and yellow? Because those are the colors cats see best! The varying difficulty levels (beginner, intermediate and top cat) will provide your cat with hours of fun as she improves her skills.
Lola and I started playing with it right away! It’s tons of fun and we couldn’t stop looking for treats! Here’s a little video for your viewing pleasure.
An Eco-Friendly Toy
Any cat product that leaves a tiny paw print on the environment is one that we can stand behind. The Cat Amazing is made from 30% recycled cardboard and is 100% recyclable. It’s printed with metal-free ink, which makes it purrfectly safe for me… ummm… I mean your cat, to chew on.
Shelter and Rescue Enrichment Program
The folks at Cat Amazing make sure shelter cats have enriched lives, too, by providing free enrichment kits to rescue, shelters, and foster organizations. The kits include:- Cat Amazing interactive puzzle toys.
- Educational “Enrichment Through Play” guides to include in adoption folders that will educate new cat parents on cat play, behavior, and how to provide an enriching home environment.
- Exclusive discount on Cat Amazing for new cat parents.
According to the ASPCA’s National Rehoming Program, aggression and destruction are the top reasons cats are returned to shelters. Cat Amazing helps prevent shelter returns by relieving boredom related behavioral problems. If you know of an organization who could benefit from enrichment kits, they can get more information here.
We were able to have a shelter of our choice receive enrichment kits, and we chose our good pals at Pet Animal Welfare Society. That was so nice of them, and we are very grateful we could help out PAWS.

ReplyDeleteI have two cats. My senior girl spends most of her day sleeping on her cat tree. The other one - Kotoha - is two years old and full of energy and play. This would be perfect for keeping her busy!
