Briefly, ensuring your cats’ nails are cut regularly will decrease furniture shredding. And if you have a cat that likes to knead on you (like Lola does), you are less likely to get poked and scratched from their pointy nails.

When Lola and Lexy’s nails are too long, they often get caught in things like their blankets, the cat tree, the scratcher, and my clothes. The Final Verdict

So, what’s the final verdict? This is now officially my favorite clipper. It really does make nail trims much less stressful for all of us. One feature I really like is that it’s relatively quiet. There is no loud clipping noise that usually frightens both of the girls and causes them to flinch and pull away (especially Lexy.)

I like that I don’t have to worry about hurting them by cutting the quick and that there are no jagged nail edges left behind. Zen Clipper is a nail trimmer that I definitely recommend to lessen the stress at “manicure” time, and this works well for all of us.
