Hello, everyone. This is Lexy checking in with part four of our "Working From Home With Cats" series. Lola and I are still very busy keeping Mother on track. Check out what we've been up to.
Just like humans, I got my days mixed up and got up early on a Caturday. It wasn't for naught, though. Mother teaches on Caturday so I decided to help her since I was already up. (Even though she accused me of doing something to her laptop.)
Mother questioned Lola about why she wasn't working. Lola quickly retorted that she was indeed working because she was making the shopping list for Trader Joe's. I'll give her this one. During hard times everyone contributes in their own way and all efforts are important.
One day I was absolutely famished and couldn't believe it wasn't lunchtime. It's a good thing Mother is such a big Lord of the Rings fan and is familiar with how important second breakfast is.
And to round out this post, Mother made a list of my accomplishments on a particular day. I'd say that was a banner day, wouldn't you?

We're joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop because we're very grateful that our Mom gets to work from home and that she and our entire family are well. Hop on over there to see what others are thankful for today.
We're BIG fans of second breakfast here too!
ReplyDeleteMom has been working from home for over ten years and we have cats. Early on they learned their lesson that they are not allowed on her desk, and they are never to lay a paw on her computer. Being cats, they ignore rules, but they seem to have gotten the one about the computer.
ReplyDeleteWe bet your mom is going to want to work from home forever knowing she has you two to help her.
ReplyDeleteWFH is fun, isn't it Lola! Our cats love having me home, but just when it seems they have gotten into the routine, they start sitting on my mouse for attention - MOL!
ReplyDeleteDang, you sure are hard working kitties and I can tell you sure enjoy having your Mom home. It looks like you have a great view from your window too. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteThe Hubby creates his own Trader Joe's list, and he gives me LOTS of guff when I want him to add something to it...he's a brat! Most all of the cats are asleep when I'm working on my laptop, although Manny will wake up just to walk on the keyboard and smear his nose on the screen...
ReplyDeleteLola we really liked your helping Mom especially your accomplishments. Buddy was Dads main helped before he retired and his favorite was totally turning the screen off. Wow the first few times he did that Dad was flummoxed. MOL. Great thankful too
ReplyDeleteI'm about to have my first breakfast. I'm happy about that. I see that you help the mom get things done. Good for you.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect Thankful Thursday. ♥
You guys have been hard at work! I hope you are getting overtime pay.
ReplyDeleteP.S. My human misses Trader Joe's! She hasn't gone in months because it isn't worth it for her to stay in line for a few goodies - because that's what she usually gets when she goes there. She tries to do all her shopping in one trip instead of hitting multiple places now.
You girls are to be commended for your hard work. I can't imagine you not scoring kudos from your mom and dad!
ReplyDeleteMOL on that last one! I sure love this series.
ReplyDeleteYou do work very hard!
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of second breakfast. Sometimes we have a third one too :) Keep your mom healthy. XO
ReplyDeleteI must confess ... seeing Lexy would make me sign up for just about any class - no matter what it is!
ReplyDeleteWow, you two are great at helping your Mommy work from home!
ReplyDeleteI have a second breakfast too, I tried a third one, but that isn't working...yet...MOL😸Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteIt's fun sitting on laptops, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteSince we are both retired, not much changed for us. Texas has loosen their restrictions and our granddaugthers come visit which is the most excitement in a ling time for the boys. MOL!
ReplyDeleteYou two girls are keeping your mum under your paws I can tell. I hope you keep well and stay safe!
ReplyDeleteMy cat can't survive without his second breakfast either!
ReplyDeleteFortunately Rosie is as lazy as I am, we would like to sleep the whole day and certainly not work !
ReplyDeleteSounds like your mom is lucky to have you two as co-workers!
ReplyDeleteWe're all working from home too. I'm good at sitting on papers so they don't move.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely story!
