Bounty is known at Tabby's Place for her meow - which can be quite loud. Let's not hold that against her, though. Since Bounty is deaf she can't hear how loud she is.
When Bounty is meowing, it's to let humans know she wants their attention. She LOVES being petted and revels in the moments when people are attentive to her.
Bounty found her way to Tabby's Place via Lebanon. Her rescue hoped Tabby's Place would have better luck at finding her a forever family here in the U.S.
Bounty does have some neurological issues that are being monitored, but Tabby's Place says "her 'weirdness' doesn't take away from her sweetness."
One thing that is very true about Bounty is that she LOVES people! My friend, Lisa, is a volunteer at Tabby's and does live video on Facebook when she's there. I had the pleasure of watching Bounty of video and I'm in love with her! (I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her in person yet.) Yes, her meow is a little loud, but she's a total lovebug and just eats up your attention.
Bounty would probably do best in a home with no small children because she gets excited when she's getting petted and will at times give someone some gentle nips. (Lexy does that to me, and it's really no big deal at all!) Bounty will wag her head until you get the right "spot", and she also loves butt scratches!
This loveable, quirky girl will make the purrfect addition to any family, that's for sure. If you're interested in adopting Bounty, you can fill out the online adoption application or print out a fillable one.
Tabby's Place is located at 1100 US Highway 202 in Ringoes, NJ. They are closed to the public at the moment due to the pandemic, but for any adoption questions about Bounty please can contact Danielle Rice at dr@tabbysplace.org with "Interested in Adopting Bounty" in the subject line. (Don't forget to tell her Lola sent you!) And we'd be so grateful if you'd share Bounty on your social media accounts.
