When I did the unboxing, I said "now that's a scratching post! I couldn't wait to put it together.

Assembly

Everything needed for assembly is in the box, including an Allen wrench. There is an extra felt pad for the top of the post, and non-slip foam strips to place on the bottom of the base to prevent the post from slipping on a floor. 

Assembly couldn't be easier! The base easily screws onto the post with the included washers and screws. Self-stick foam strips are placed on the bottom to prevent the post from slipping on floors. 

Then place the self-adhering, non-slip pad on top of the perch and you're done! 

The girls couldn't wait for me to finish putting it together before trying it out.

What I Love About It: 

• It's very stylish and will fit in nicely with any decor. 
• It's very sturdy, so I don't have to worry about the girls knocking it over. 
• I love the size! There is plenty of scratching surface area and the girls don't have to get into a hissy fit over it because there is plenty of room for both of them.
• The post is covered with natural jute rope which is durable (and happens to be one of the girls' favorite scratching surfaces.)
• It's very well made and will last a very long time.
