Happy Monday! We hope all of our friends had a wonderful Christmas. Our Christmas morning was made even more special because we had our presents from our Secret Paws to open! This year our Secret Paws were Buckwheat and Dixie Snapp! Would you believe that after seven years of blogging Lexy and I had never met Buckwheat and Dixie? Unbelievable, I know.
They sent us a lovely package!
Buckwheat and Dixie gave us some pawesome toys! I mean, really pawesome.
And the package was complete with some yummy treats that we had never tried before. These are now officially on our favorite treat list!
Buckwheat and Dixie's mom, Miss Amanda, made these adorable little trinkets for our mom, which she loves. She's been thinking about getting a tattoo of a cat on a moon. Could this be a sign?
Thank you so much for our secret paws! We love everything and we're very touched by your generosity.
A little update about us: We apologize for not being very involved in the blogging community lately. It was a rough year for our family. Many of you may know (if you saw our family's GoFund Me) that one of our close relatives had a leg amputated earlier in the year. Our mom was helping pack up her house and then helping move her into a new apartment.
Then our mom had a crazy semester at the school because of COVID-19. The semester is finally over and the grades are entered, so hopefully we can get back to a little bit of normal with our blog. Mom has to get through a hundred emails from people and brands, and then will concentrate on writing again. We're not sure what we will be focusing on in 2022 on the blog, but we may have a surprise announcement later on in the year. It will be exciting when it happens, that's for sure.
This year we were happy to have a big focus on community cats, and we're proud of our Community Cat Awareness series. We still have a few ideas left to write about, so we're sure there will be a few more articles in that series. We'd love to know what you'd like to read about.
We wish all of our friends and readers a very happy new year! May 2022 bring brighter days filled with love and abundance for all. Thank you to everyone who has continued to visit our blog over the year. We appreciate you more than you know.
