In June I brought you the second installment of a series of posts by Tina Traster, Producer and Director of the documentary film Catnip Nation. This month Tina tells us about a feral colony at a town dump that is in jeopardy. I'm hoping all parties involved can come to terms for the sake of the cats. How nice would it be for all cats to live safe and happy lives? I hope this feral colony is safe and is being taken care of.

Operation Twelve Tiny Paws: Kitties Need a Home!
Hello, and Happy Wednesday! Today we have a guest on our blog. I'd like to introduce you to Otis, the leader of Twelve Tiny Paws. Otis, Milo and Cami are desperately in need of their forever home. Our friends at PAD PAWS have been caring for them for quite a long time now, but they really need a home. We're asking all of our friends to share their story on social media so we can get the word out about them. Lexy and I were in the street at one point in our lives, and it wasn't fun! We count our lucky stars every day for our home and family, and our wish is for these three beautiful cats to be safe and happy.

Thanks, friends! We know we can count on you.

Hello, and Happy Monday! You all know that Lexy is the expert reviewer here at Lola The Rescued Cat, but today I thought I’d try my paw at it. (I hope she'll be proud of me!)
The nice people at Holistic Health Extension contacted us about trying out their food. Before we agreed, I checked them out to see if their food is something we can stand behind. Well, I’m happy to report that it is! Read on to see why.

6 Reasons You Should Brush Your Cat
Hello and happy Thursday Purrsday! Lexy has been doing most of the talking lately, so today I decided to take over the blog. Lexy and I recently got a new brush that we both love, so I thought it would be fantastic to write about the benefits of brushing your cat on a regular basis! (I thought this was a brilliant idea, but that’s just my opinion!) Keep reading to learn about six reasons you should brush your cat.
