Cats love treats, and Lola and Lexy are no different. They come running if they hear a sound like a treat bag rustling. I want both of them to be healthy and still enjoy their treats, so I'm a little picky when choosing them. Catit Creamy are treats I'm comfortable giving them.

Your Cats Will Love The Catit® LED Flower Fountain! Review and Giveaway
I'm a big fan of Catit products, and so are Lola and Lexy. We've been lucky to review the Catit Oasis (which was one of our very first reviews - hopefully you can see the improvement since then!) and the Catit Lounge Scratcher, which were hits with the girls. (There are also a couple of other Catit products around the house that I've either purchased or won in giveaways). A few years ago I was also honored with an invitation to the Black Cat Soiree at their Catit Playground here in NYC, and it was a pleasure to get to meet some of the people from behind the scenes.

The PIXI Smart Feeder by Catit
I don’t have the typical 9 to 5 job, and I work erratic hours sometimes. Add my part-time job to the mix and there are days I find myself leaving the house at 7:00 am and getting home at 10:00 pm. I always leave food out for Lexy and Lola but worry if it’s enough, or if Lexy will binge eat. When I come through the door at night they are sometimes immediately meowing for their evening meal.

Catit Oasis Review - The Purrfect Playground for you Cat!
I’m very excited to have the opportunity to review the Oasis kit from Catit! I first became aware of Catit’s products at BlogPaws last May, and fell in love with the redesign and the new products. Since then I’ve been patiently waiting for their release, and I was very happy when I was contacted to try out the Oasis kit. And we are having a giveaway for one lucky cat (or person) to win their very own kitty Oasis!
Oasis is available just in time for the holidays for $129.00 (regularly priced at $155.93.)
For this price you get the following:
*Magic Blue Cartridge
*Flower Fountain
*Multi Feeder
*Senses 2.0 Wellness Center
*Senses 2.0 Super Circuit
*Senses 2.0 Grass Planter
*Senses 2.0 Cat Grass Kit
*Senses 2.0 Scratcher
All of the Catit products are made of durable materials, are easy to assemble, and easy to clean. Aesthetically they can blend into many different decors. They all match one another so you’ll have the same color scheme and not mis-matched pieces (if that’s something you consider when buying furniture or toys for your kitties.)
I like the three-in-one feeder. The bowl for wet food is wide and shallow, so there is less stress on kitty’s whiskers.
There’s a paw pit where you can put some dry food so you can leave some food out if you’re going to be home late, etc. “The paw pit stimulates natural self-controlled feeding. By hiding the kibble from view, it entices cats to instinctively paw out snack-sized portions. This natural activity slows down their pace and prevents binge eating.” Lola actually used it! At first both she and Lexy were trying to put their faces into the pit, but Lola quickly adapted and fished out the food with her paw. Lexy couldn’t be bothered. There is a storage space underneath the bowl in which I can fit four three-ounce cans of Fancy Feast.

The Spacious and Comfy Cabrio Multi-Functional Cat Carrier by Catit.
I'm always on the hunt for the perfect carrier for Lola. Soft carriers don't work well for her because she's a feline Houdini and has escaped from more than one of them in the car. Once when I was driving through the Central Park Traverse and another time when my friend was driving with her on the Grand Central Parkway. I should add there were a few more close calls, as well. In addition to her ability to flee from her confinement in the PTU (Prisoner Transport Unit, as many cats refer to it), she pees in the carrier. Every.Single.Time. Needless to say, a few soft carriers have been ruined.
When I saw the Cabrio Carrier by Catit my interest was piqued, and I wondered how Lola would fare in it. When the opportunity came about to work with Catit on a review, I was very excited to give the carrier a try. (Read our tips on how to get your cat to love their carrier.)

Hello and Happy Thursday Purrsday! Today we have some great news that will really make you purr! This weekend is going to be a Catit weekend here in NYC!
That's right, Catit will soon open the doors to its first-ever pop-up shop and indoor pet playground. Get ready for some action-packed fun that includes an oversized kitty playground circuit, cat art gallery, pet expert discussions, and plenty of shopping for you and your feline friends. On hand will be author and cat photographer Lucas De Boeck giving tips on pet photography, and signing his cat portrait book, “Pure.” Animal Haven Shelter will be on hand with many “paws”-atively adorable kitties for cuddling – and adopting! Attendance is free (for you and your cat!), but attendees will leave with a complimentary Catit gift (while supplies last) to commemorate the event. Mock-“tail” refreshments will be served to round out the “purr”-fect weekend event.
It’s open to the public/consumers Friday, May 13 from 2-5 p.m., Saturday (May 14) from 10 to 6 p.m. and Sunday (May 15) 10-3 p.m.
Mommy will be there and she can't wait! Did I mention there will be cat adoptions? I did? Well, it's worth mentioning twice! If you live in the Tri-State area, come spend a day in the Big Apple, check out the event, have a mock-tail and take home a kitty! MOL
Do you have any Catit products? What's your favorite? We love our fountain and cat grass!

Catit Bench Scratcher - A Chewy Review
Hello everyone, this is Lexy checking in with another fab review. This month our friends at Chewy.com had a great list of products for us to choose from, but I chose the Catit Bench Scratcher. Everyone knows how much I love a good scratcher, but one I can lounge on is even better!

As soon as Mother took it out of the box, I jumped right on it to give it a work out. (Please excuse the photo bomb by my pesky little sister.)

Does Your Cat Drink Enough Water? (Cat Dehydration Symptoms)
July is National Pet Hydration Awareness Month, which was started by the folks over at Pet Safe to get the word out to pet owners everywhere to be aware of their pet’s water in-take. I'm sharing some important information for cat owners to understand why keeping your cats properly hydrated is so important.
If you’re a Harry Potter fan you’ve probably heard of the Elixir of Life (a potion made from the Philosopher’s Stone that extends the life of the drinker.) In our universe we don’t have a Philosopher’s Stone, but we do have our own, easily accessible elixir – water.
Water is essential for all beings because it assists in lubricating joints, transporting nutrients through the bloodstream, regulating body temperature through respiration, flushing waste materials out of the body by way of urine, and cushioning the brain and spinal cord, and the list goes on. For all of these reasons and more, it’s important we make sure our cats (and all pets!) have access to plenty of fresh, clean water.

Sunday Selfies With Will
Hello and Happy Sunday! Today's selfie is with my buddy Will (so it's really and "us"-ie not a "self"-ie. *giggle*) I got a little annoyed when he didn't do it right the first time and I wanted to give up, but Will kept trying. The last pic is as good as it's gonna get!
No, Will. You're doing it wrong. |
Sigh... no, still not right. |

We're Back! And We Moved!
Lola: Hello, and Happy Purrsday! Oh, I've so missed all of our friends! Our lives have been so busy that our heads have been absolutely spinning.
Lexy: Hello from me, too! I've missed blogging more than I imagined I would. And yes, our heads are spinning. Well, Mother's head is mostly spinning, and if it weren't for Alexa and Siri, she wouldn't know what day it is.
Lola: But we've got some very exciting news!
Lexy: As you can tell from the title of this post, we have moved. We are no longer city cats. Mother, Lola, and I have packed up and moved to the suburbs.
